My name is Catarina Lopes, I'm 22 years old. I’ve a degree in Communication Sciences from Nova University of Lisbon – Faculty of Social and Humanity Sciences.

 

Photography started out as a hobby for me, but during the last four years it became something else. I invested in the area; bought new materials, studied the technique and went to the “field” in order to practice and learn.

 

At the moment I’m doing individual and family photo sessions and event photography among other tasks that keep coming up.

I taught a workshop on Photography & Image Manipulation and I took part in several events as a photographer for the academic journal, Aula Magna.

 

Also, I did the photo coverage of the Global Entrepreneurship Week for the Portuguese Association Business Angels (APBA), worked for the ESN (Erasmus Student Network Lisbon) as party and event photographer and recently I had the opportunity to take some photos of the Portugal Fashion 2013.
